Shocking video: Suspects forced to beat each other

Warning: Disturbing Content!

This video surfaced on the popular ‘Police clips and pics’ site, showing what they claim to be two Ladysmith, KZN, criminals being forced by the community to beat each other up.

The violence in the video is disturbing. The video has gone viral.

There is no way, from the video, to confirm whether the incident did indeed happen in Ladysmith, KZN. It was uploaded, dated September 6, 2016.

According to police spokesperson Captain Charmaine Struwig, the members of the community who forced the two alleged robbers to attack each other are just as guilty, if not more so, than the two victims. Even a threat without violence can constitute assault.

Anyone with information should contact Ladysmith SAPS.
