THE September league of the Vryheid Luremasters was held at Graham Ford’s dam on September 10.

A large number of members did arrive, but due to the inclement weather and the low water level launching of the water craft was very difficult and most crews decided not to launch.

A few ‘die-hards’ did, however, take to the water, but fishing was difficult and only a few small fish were caught. There was no winner for this league so the prize money will be carried over to the next league, which will be held at Heyshope Dam on October 8.

The club will pay for the camping for this weekend, provided your subs are paid up. The last day for paying subs is September 30. If your subs are not paid on or before this date, your membership will cease and you will be required to pay the joining fee as with any new member.

Please pay your subs to Paul at Vital Signs or contact any committee member.
