Sleet has stopped falling in Van Reenen and it is now raining.
Snow is falling in the Harrismith area and on the Amajuba Pass. Ladysmith motorists are to be advised that Amajuba Pass is closed to traffic.
N3TC advises people with medical conditions to ensure that they travel with sufficient medical supplies.
Weather and traffic conditions, as well as road closures, will be communicated via the media and N3TC’s Twitter feed.
As earlier warned, motorists are advised to drive carefully because the roads are wet and potentially dangerous. People are also urged not to go out for snow sightings, as they may get trapped.
Please be extremely cautious in these areas.
