5 things you can’t do with long nails
You typically type with the tops of your fingertips close to your nail, but with long nails, you have to change your typing ways and use the pads of your fingers more
Many women who have worn long fake nails for extended periods of time have found it incredibly frustrating, as they cannot do what they normally can with ordinary nails. Some, on the other hand, can cope just fine with their long nails.
Here are 5 of the most annoying things women tend to experience while having their ‘talons’ on:
1- Putting in earrings: If your nails are long and your earrings are little, they’re going to fall into the sea that is the underside of your nail.
2- Typing on a keyboard: You typically type with the tops of your fingertips close to your nail, but with long nails, you have to change your typing ways and use the pads of your fingers more.
3- Putting on any type of make-up using your fingers: Kiss applying foundation with your fingertips goodbye, because you’ll most likely create all types of divots in your make-up when you try to apply it while wearing fake nails.
4- Flossing: This is hard enough to do when the floss is so tightly wrapped around your finger that you feel like it’s going to fall off. Throw long nails into the mix and they’re poking your gums, keeping you from really getting in there and cleaning between your teeth.
5- Opening a can of cool-drink: You now have to use the side of your finger to try to jimmy it open to avoid breaking or bending your nail backwards.
