Borehole in Bhekuzulu stinks

A BOREHOLE in Bhekuzulu New Location seems to have caused quiet a stink recently.

The water collection point situated just opposite Bhekuzulu Primary has raised concern among many community members around the area due to the strange smell of the water.

“The water seems to have a strange smell and we are uncertain what could be causing this stench. We are all very worried as we drink this water and are currently unsure whether or not it could be harmful to us,” said a community member.

The municipality was contacted with regards to the matter and the Vryheid Herald is still awaiting response.
