Community members take matters into their own hands and build a bridge

Initializing the whole idea, Mr Ntshingile is using his own money and resources to build a bridge that will help the community at large

The Besters community, Schoeman area, have taken matters into their own hands and are in the process of building themselves a bridge.

Initializing the whole idea, Mr Ntshingile uses his own money and resources to build the bridge that will help the community at large.

“The reason why we are building this bridge is because a ditch traps water, which makes it impossible for motorists and people to cross,” said Sibusiso Dlala, who is a builder.

He went on to say that the government pays them no mind in helping them improve their living conditions.

Mr Ntshingila buys all the resources needed with his own money, saying it’s for a good cause, as the community has a hard time whenever it rains and cannot access the main road.

Anyone who wishes to help Mr Ntshingila and his team, by donating building supplies, can contact the Ladysmith Gazette on 0366376801.
