Medics attempted to resuscitate the man, but it was too late and he was declared deceased

A man was found dead in his house this afternoon (October 20) in Jantha Street.

The man, believed to be in his 40s, was found by family members hanging in a bedroom.

Sharaj Ambulance Services were called to the scene.

Medics attempted to resuscitate him, but it was too late and he was declared deceased.

Sharaj Ambulance Services, K9 Unit officers and forensics personnel were on scene.

No foul play is suspected.

The suicide rate is known to increase towards the end of the year, for whatever reason, with many people feeling as if there is no other option but to take their own lives.

No matter how bad it is, talk to someone.
