South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO, KZN) in the Zululand Taxi Region continued with their effort of sympathising with those in need.
The Zululand Taxi Region has recently donated 437 new full school uniforms to the needy pupils on various schools all over the Zululand Region as part of Hlokomela School’s outreach, the name Hlokomela comes from Sesotho Language and means “care”.
This initiative of Hlokomela was implemented by the National leadership of SANTACO to exercise road safety, obeying the rules of the road and care for passengers.
The Leadership of Zululand Taxi Region donated these uniforms to uplift the standard of living for these pupils as they walk a long journey to reach their destination.
Schools that received uniforms are from Ulundi, Babanango, Hlahlindlela, Gluckstadt, Vryheid, Mondlo, Louwsberg, Khwezi, and Pongola.
The event was held in Cecil Emmett Hall.
