Ladysmith and Ezakheni police stations are out of reach
Their telephone lines are unreachable, with calls not going through when people try to phone the police
Ladysmith and Ezakheni SAPS are experiencing difficulties with their telephone lines today (October 23).
This, in effect, means that they are unreachable, with calls not going through when people try to get hold of the police.
This is a matter of grave concern, as police cannot be contacted if criminals decide to strike.
“We are experiencing difficulties with our lines, as we can make calls, but calls can’t come through to us. We do not know what the cause is,” explained police communications officer Captain Charmaine Struwig.
She added that technicians are working on the problem and are dealing with the matter with immediate effect.
