Drakensberg Secondary School was placed first in the GET Excellence Awards - senior phase for the fourth consecutive year
Drakensberg Secondary School was placed first in the GET Excellence Awards – senior phase for the fourth consecutive year.
Principal, Mr S Sewlal indicated that this is an exceptional achievement. He extended his sincere appreciation to his dedicated learners and educators for ensuring that quality teaching and learning takes place.
He also thanked the parents and the School Governing Body for their support. Mr Sewlal added that the staff have instilled a spirit of healthy competitiveness amongst learners to drive them to the next level.
Awardees are as follows:
Teneel Naidoo first position for Economic and management science, Natural Sciences, English home language and third position mathematics.
Nokuphila Mngadi – first position – Isizulu FAL. Ayush Bassai – first position – social sciences. Yashiq Bhikraj – first position – technology.
Educators:
