UPDATE: Cops and robbers in Pioneer Park

The supervisor was injured after a shot was fired.

PIONEER PARK – The woman who was shot in the foot in yesterday’s armed robbery has been discharged from hospital.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, an employee from Pick ‘n Pay Family Supermarket in Pioneer Park confirmed the woman was in fact a supervisor.

The supervisor was wounded when a bullet ricocheted off the floor.

“She was shot in the foot but she’s out of hospital now.”

The employee explained the armed robbers, at least five plus their garbed accomplice, made off with a couple hundred thousand Rand last night.

At this time, reports indicated two suspects have been apprehended.
