Update: Municipality keep their promises in fixing potholes?

Workers fix pothole, but 'valve cover' is missing...

Residents of the Hospital Park area approached the Ladysmith Gazette, complaining about a pothole at the corner of Barrack and Beacon Road.

The Alfred Duma Local Municipality promised to fix the problem and lived up to their promise.

However, another problem was brought to the attention of the Gazette when residents showed that although the pothole has been filled, the ‘valve cover’ is missing and this is clearly visible.

Residents feel it should be covered properly.
