AfriForum spruces up Utrecht’s facade
AfriForum undertakes to improve the appearance of Utrecht.

The Utrecht branch of the organisation repainted the rusted emblems adorning the signs welcoming residents and visitors to the town.

Local representatives said this was important for two reasons.
“Utrecht’s emblem forms part of the town, as well as the community’s heritage. It is also the first thing visitors to the town see,” said Andre Homann, Chairperson of AfriForum Utrecht.

Kallie Kriel, the CEO of AfriForum, commended this initiative, and said it was liberating to know the future was not in the hands of Government, but in the hands of its people.
