Update: Water tankers dispatched as emergency maintenance continues

Residents of Ezakheni, Acaciavale and Aloe Park have been without water since Friday

Municipal engineers are still busy with emergency maintenance work at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Plant in Embizeni after various areas of town ran out of water.

Residents of Ezakheni, Acaciavale and Aloe Park have been without water since yesterday (November 11).

According to uThukela communications officer Jabulani Mkhonza, tankers have been dispatched to distribute water in the affected areas.

uThukela apologises for the inconvenience caused while maintenance work is being carried out at the Ezakheni Bulk Water Works.

Updates will be provided as soon as we have more information as to when the water supply will be restored.
