A day to remember as pre-schoolers graduate

It was a day to remember as the learners were wrapped in little graduation gowns and caps

On Saturday, November 12, proud parents and learners attended the ML Sultan Estcourt Preschool Graduation at the Forderville Primary school hall.

It was a day to remember as the learners were wrapped in little graduation gowns and caps. Ms NP Hlophe, the programme director, commenced the function as the graduands led the house in prayer.

Mrs KB Osman, Deputy Principal, welcomed parents to the 18th preschool graduation. The Principal, Mr DH Zuma, addressed the parents about enhancing learner development as well as the implications of a health promoting school. Parents were encouraged to support the school and the learners by attending meetings, communicating regularly with the teachers and motivating learners to love school. Mrs S Ramdeen, the Head of Department – Foundation Phase, summoned each learner to the stage.

The educators, Ms Peersaib and Ms Ngcobo, presented each graduand with a trophy and a certificate. Parents were excited when graduands posed for a class photograph and brought the function to a close with a slow dance.

Parents and learners were treated to lovely refreshments. The Principal and staff wish to thank Moola’s Scholars Choice for the donation of trophies, Ms NM Cebekhulu for the loan of graduation caps and the members of the School Governing Body and staff for all their assistance in making this function a success.
