Motor business frustrated with sewer leak

Employees have to not only put up with the horrible smell, but they also have to walk in the sewer water

Sewage is seeping out of a manhole at the back of Ladysmith Autohaus.

Employees have to not only put up with the terrible stench, but they also have to walk in the sewer water.

It has been a month now that the business has been dealing with this problem. Management claim they have phoned uThukela numerous times with the same complaint.

uThukela workers went out to the premises on one occasion and promised the employees they would come back and remedy the situation. To date, nothing has been done about it.

“We are tired of this nonsense. The leak needs to be fixed urgently,” said Mr Norman Hills of Autohaus.
