Pothole in King Street angers motorists
Motorists claim this is incompetence on the part of the municipality and they ask why the pothole hasn't been fixed yet
A huge pothole in King Street is causing problems for motorists, who are worried about damage to their vehicles.
The pothole seems to have emerged as a result of digging done by municipal workers. The hole that was dug was filled up and covered with sand instead of tar.
Heavy vehicles, such as trucks and buses, drive along that street on a regular basis and the huge tyres go straight down into the makeshift-covered hole in the tarmac.
Motorists claim this is incompetence on the part of the municipality and they ask why the pothole hasn’t been fixed yet.
“This pothole is a danger to us, as motorists, and it is also a hazard to our cars. Why don’t they do something about it?” fumed an annoyed motorist.
The pothole has been there for over three days now and nothing has been done about it.
