The prisoner who escaped from the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court this morning (November 28) has handed himself over.

The convict eluded all the security measures in place at the court and simply walked out.

A manhunt was launched for the escapee, but before they could track him down, he returned to the court and handed himself over this afternoon. He was promptly placed under arrest.
