BREAKING NEWS: Suspected drunk driver smashes into van

The driver of a grey van was parked at the robot, when the suspected drunk driver of a red bakkie crashed into the rear of the stationary vehicle

“It’s the start to the festive season. The driver is so drunk, he can barely stand,” remarked the passenger whose vehicle was rammed into minutes earlier.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Alfred and Harding streets.

Fortunately no one was injured but the red bakkie sustained damage to the front. The driver from the red bakkie was being examined by paramedics to ascertain his alcohol level.

Traffic and police officers as well as paramedics are currently on scene.
