Dannhauser to unite this weekend to combat crime

Dannhauser SAPS are bringing the community together for a Public Awareness Open Day, in the hopes of uniting the community to help combat crime.

The event will kick off at the old Bafana Bafana Store, past Standard Bank, where SAPS, EMRS, firefighters and other stakeholders will start a parade through town.

Pamphlets will be handed out and awareness will be drummed up for the main event.

The parade will proceed through town, making it’s way to South Park Grounds where the main attractions will be.

Various security companies and other organisations will be marketing their services.

The bomb disposal squad will be doing a demo and Dr Vawda will also do a presentation on what to do if someone you know has been raped.

There will be various food stalls and fun for the kids as well.

Entrance is free.
