16 Days of activism taken to the rank

The MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mr Mxolisi Kaunda and the Mayor of Abaqulusi Municipality, Mr M. Mtshali, were among the delegates who inspires and encourage the public to be responsible for their lives and care for one another

AS THE entire world was rallying behind 16 Days of Activism for No violence against Woman and Children last week, the Zululand Taxi Region in conjunction with the Department of Transport (KZN) held a gathering and interacting with the public and taxi drivers on Thursday, December 1 at Vryheid Plaza Taxi Rank.

The MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mr Mxolisi Kaunda and the Mayor of Abaqulusi Municipality, Mr M. Mtshali, were among the delegates who inspires and encourage the public to be responsible for their lives and care for one another.

The initiative was promoted by the Sukuma Sakhe Campaign, which combines all the government departments.

The Department of Health did various tests on members of the public who were keen.
