EHS announces Dux awardees
Grade 12 top performing learners Savannalee Hodgkinson and Nondumiso Zondo shared the prestigious Dux award
It was that time of the year at Estcourt High School (EHS) when top learners reaped their rewards. The school hosted its annual awards ceremony at the school’s hall yesterday.
A delegation from the Education Department and the school’s management committee took to the stage to congratulate and award learners from grade eight, nine, ten, 11 and 12.
The highlight of the awards ceremony was the announcement of the Dux.
Grade 12 top performing learners Savannalee Hodgkinson and Nondumiso Zondo shared the prestigious Dux award. They received the trophy amid hearty applause from their peers, educators and guests in the audience.
Both girls were placed at the top of the Estcourt circuit. Savannalee received six A’s and was placed first and Nondumiso received seven A’s and was placed second.
