Blood donation is in their veins

The Pillaye family has been supporting the blood donation drive for dozens of years.

To re-enforce their dedication to this life-saving initiative, three generations of family members donated a pint of blood each at a recent blood donor clinic held at the Forderville Primary School Hall.

Koomarasen Pillaye (father) donated his 119th pint, Kuben (son) donated his 111th pint, Diveshni (daughter) donated her 23rd pint and grandson Keolan donated his third pint.

Mr Pillaye appeals to other families to declare their support for blood donation.
