Omnia and Moths battle for bowls honours

The second last round of the Fedauto business league was played on Thursday evening. The leader board shows two teams tied on top with 16 points, namely Omnia and the Moths. However, Omnia lead on shot difference. Closely followed by Braytons, who have an outside chance if the two top teams fail to secure a win Thursday evening. The leader board looks as follows: Omnia 16 + 52, Moths 16 + 26 and Braytons 14 + 30. This Thursday is the last round followed by prize giving. Bring your braai goodies, family and friends and come enjoy the evening with us. Play starts at 5:45pm.
Take note: The Overdale Farming Business league will start on February 23. Entry list is on the notice boards. Hurry and get your team entered. The club would like to wish Nan Roos good bowling over the weekend as she participates in the South African Masters in Gauteng. Best of luck Nan and everyone in the club is rooting for you.
On Friday afternoons, sunset bowls is played so come and roll a few. Those needing any help or coaching, just shout and we will be glad to assist. On February 25-26: Northern Zone Men’s and Ladies Pairs and on March 4-5 – Northern Zone Mixed Pairs. Entries are on the notice board.
