Beauty and beasts take on enduro challenge
There are over 130 riders here...

Some of the top off-road riders in the world sneaked into the area over the weekend to compete in the Paddavlei Enduro near Burnside. There are over 130 riders here, including Kirsten Landman, the world’s number one lady extreme rider, from Johannesburg.

Proof that beauty and mud do go together! Other top names in the field included Dwayne Kleynhans, Travis Teasdale, Wade Young (third rate enduro rider in the world), Blake Gutzeit (top junior rider), Bradley Cox (son of the legendary Alfie Cox), Bruce May, Ryan Pelser, Calvin Hume (Roof of Africa winner) and some local riders too. While the event was not advertised outside of motorbiking circles, it was a chance to have an up-close look at the experts in action and enjoy the social side too!
