Nan bowls to third place in Gauteng

"Well done Nan, you are our Champion."

The final round of the FedAuto business league was played on Thursday evening. A huge thank you FedAuto for their support and sponsorship. The final results were as follows: First Omnia on 18+54, second Moths on 18+27 and third Braytons on 16+36. The stone (for stone last) went to Bhekilanga Babes who fought valiantly throughout the league.
A big thank you to all the participants who continue to support the different sponsored leagues. The Overdale Farming business league will start on February 23. Entry list is on the notice board. Hurry and get your team entered. Thursday nights are a night to come out with family and friends and enjoy some wonderful fellowship with friends in the community.

The Moths team was placed second in the FedAuto Business League: Les and Angus Millar, Dudley Fleischman and Alex Donaldson received their prizes from Ralph Steinhobel of FedAuto.

Nan finishes third in SA Masters
The past weekend saw Nan Roos competing in the SA Masters in Gauteng. Nan ended up third in her section. What an awesome weekend of support and words of encouragement that flowed through the airways. Well done Nan, you are our Champion. Congratulations to Theuns Fraser from Midlands who won the SA Masters Men’s Senior section.

KZNCB flags flies high.
This weekend sees the club Nominated Mixed Pairs being played.
Play starts at 9am and teams are asked to be at the club by 8:30 am. The semi-finals and finals will be played on Sunday with play starting at 11am.

For Saturday, players are asked to bring a little something for the bring-and-share lunch. All members to take note of the following dates and to check the notice board for more details: From the 25-26 of February its the Northern Zone Men’s and Ladies Pairs. From March 4-5, the Northern Zone Mixed Pairs. On 1-2 April – Northern Zone Mens and Ladies Open Fours. Entries are on the notice board.
