At least seven lives have been lost in a horrific collision on the Dundee/Vryheid road this morning.  The accident, in which three vehicles were involved, occurred past the Blood River turn-off on the R34. An SUV, a truck and a sedan were believed to have been involved in a head-on collision.

The road was closed while authorities cleared the debris.  Witnesses described the scene as horrific ‘with bodies lying, scattered around’.  More news on this accident when details become available.
