Ichthus swimmers tops at KZNCSSA Gala

The Competition was tough, but the Ichthus swimmers showed their enthusiasm and they participated with passion.

Seven Ichthus swimmers participated in the KZN Christian Schools gala in Durban on Saturday, February 18. Schools from Durban North, Durban South and the North Coast participated in the gala. Competition was tough, but the Ichthus swimmers showed their enthusiasm and they participated with passion.
Results were as follows:
Seamus Stein (B u/8): 25m Butterfly – 3rd, 25m Breaststroke – 3rd, 25m Freestyle – 6th.
Akwandokuhle Kubheka (B u/8): 25m Butterfly – 5th, 25m Breaststroke – 5th, 25m Freestyle – 8th, 25m Backstroke – 2nd.
Lindokuhle Kubheka (Gu/9): 25m Butterfly – 3rd, 25m Breaststroke – 7th, 25m Freestyle – 6th, 25m Backstroke – 4th.
Lethokuhle Kubheka (Gu/9): 25m Butterfly – 4th, 25m Breaststroke – 5th, 25m Freestyle – 7th, 25m Backstroke – 5th.
Musa Mazibuko (B u/9): 25m Breaststroke – 8th, 25m Freestyle – 10th, 25m Backstroke – 7th.
Amiel Laloo (B u/10): 100m Freestyle – 3rd, 50m Breaststroke – 7th, 50m Backstroke – 4th, 100m Butterfly – 3rd.
Amy-Faith Stein (G u/13): 200m IM – 4th, 50m Backstroke – 1st, 50m Breaststroke – 3rd, 50m Freestyle – 1st.
