Final bell sounds for Newbies reunion at Lentevlei
Final preparations are underway for the reunion, which reunites learners of Newcastle Senior Primary School and Newcastle High School up until the class of 1980.

Final preparations are underway for the reunion, which reunites learners of Newcastle Senior Primary School and Newcastle High School up until the class of 1980.
Hundreds of former learners will be present, many from across the globe.
The reunion begins at about 10am on March 11, at Lentevlei Farm about eight kilometres outside Newcastle on the R34 Memel Road.
The cutoff date for attendees was Wednesday this week.
A casual bring-and-braai begins at approximately 2.30pm, and guests are required to bring chairs, a picnic basket and utensils.
Salads and side dishes will be supplied.
Former learners can still request to be part of the reunion WhatsApp group, or contact Trevor Smith directly on 083 625 9656.
“There are many people who contributed considerably to the development of Newcastle, who have confirmed they will be there. We also welcome class reunions to be part of the mass reunion.”
