Puppy found wandering in Carbineer Road needs to find owner
The dog is currently at the Animal Anti-Cruelty League.
A tiny brown-and-white puppy was found wandering alone in Carbineer Road, down the hill towards the river, at around lunchtime on Tuesday (June 2).
The frightened young dog appeared to be lost, hungry and unsure where to go. Concerned for her safety, a local resident stopped to help after noticing her running around.
Good Samaritan steps in
“I found the puppy when I was coming home for lunch. She was scared and hungry, so I picked her up and brought her home. I fed her and made sure she was safe,” the resident explained.
Puppy taken to safety
Later that day, the resident’s brother collected the puppy and took her to the Animal Anti-Cruelty League, where she is currently being cared for while efforts are made to locate her owners or find a new home.
