Disabled parking – The saga continues

"It's nice to see them helping the community like that..." he added.

It seems that someone from our municipality’s electrical department is one of the 5,03%…

Recently, the Vryheid Herald received a report from a resident who wished to ‘compliment’ our municipality on their willingness to employ ‘handicapped people to do electrical work…” after they witnessed a municipal bakkie from the electrical department parked in a ‘disabled parking’ zone outside a local supermarket.

“It’s nice to see them helping the community like that…” he added.

The question remains however, was the driver of this vehicle actually disabled, and if so, to what extent, if he/she is employed to work with electricity?

We await the municipality’s response…
