A sudden rain storm at Hattingspruit caught campers at Tom Worthington dam by surprise late on Saturday afternoon with many of their tents being flooded.

The Glendee Yacht Club is this weekend holding their regatta at the dam. Chantall Meikle-Braes, one of those camping at the dam, caught the downpour on video and on her phone.

Over 70mm of rain was recorded at the dam. Despite, this it appears as if the camping goes on…
