It is cool to be a Grade R and RR learner at Ichthus
One term into the school year and the learners have enjoyed so many activities.

The Grade R and RR learners are thoroughly enjoying the new year at Ichthus Christian School under the guidance of their teachers, Santa Robberts and Salomé Wood.
One term into the school year and the learners have enjoyed so many activities. To name a few: “Make and Bake” where learners whipped up their own sweet and savoury creations. They enjoyed every morsel after all the hard work they put into making them look yummy! The arts and crafts with boxes, bottles, cardboard and paint – Picasso himself would be so proud. The puppet shows with Frikkie, Suzie and friends are a Friday must! With valuable lessons to be learnt by young and old! Balancing on the balance beam, swinging on the bar and tumbling on the mat, Ichthus learners enjoy learning and growing through GymKid with Charlene Jansen van Vuuren.
Whether swimming froggie, freestyle, backstroke or dolphin or walking like a crocodile at the bottom of the pool, swimming lessons with Aunty Jenny Thöle was pure enjoyment with many learners obtaining their swimming badges to show off their progress. An outing to the Library where the Grade R learners learnt the value and importance of reading and taking care of books. It really is cool to be at Ichthus Christian School.
