The inaugural Golf Business League at Dundee Country Club came to an end last Wednesday afternoon after seven weeks of competitive golf from the six teams that entered the competition.
The final was contested by two evenly matched teams, The Shed and OK Value, with both teams keen to become the initial Business League Champions and receive the coveted floating trophy. In a very closely contested match, the OK Value team managed to overcome The Shed by a single point, to win the final 41 – 40 to be crowned champions.

The Amabongolo team claimed the third position after they beat Morning Dew Chickens 48-44, while the Stone, for last position, went to Farmers Agri-Care after losing 38-44 to Deb’s Embroidery. Saturday’s 4 BBBS club competition attracted a mediocre field of 24 players and winning the competition on 44 points was the pairing of Richard Catlett and Coenie Munro, one point ahead of Clement Chawanda and Mandla Mthethwa.

Only Sifiso Kunene on the 4th hole and Dan Scholtz on the 8th managed to record a 2 Club to share the prize money.
