Devotees have been rallying together and lovingly decorating the colourful chariot to transport the Lord through the streets of Estcourt on March 18.

The community’s response and willingness to assist and contribute towards the festival preparations has been overwhelming. Please don’t forget to wear your sunscreen, sunhats and comfortable walking shoes.

If using an umbrella for extra sun protection, which is advisable kindly be mindful not to hurt the person next to you. Public transport will be available from the Gaytri Mandir at 9am sharp at no cost.

For those of you who are unable to attend the street procession due to working hours, you and your family are still welcome to partake in a sumptuous biryani, dhall and salad and sojee dessert at absolutely no cost at the town hall. You will be able to personally give an offering or simply pray to the Lord for his mercy after the procession at the Estcourt Town Hall.

Also, please make certain you indulge in the mediation tent and admission is absolutely free. We all know that mediation induces relaxation, reduces stress and tension and boosts the immune system and these are just a few benefits.
