60th anniversary celebrations at Drakensview Primary

For 60 years Drakensview Primary has been part of the Estcourt community.
During the last week of the term, a variety of activities was held to involve present learners and staff in the celebrations.
On a hot sunny Tuesday the fun day was held.

A large variety of inflatable jumping castles were put up on the sports field. For four hours the children played energetically, having the time of their lives. They climbed, wrestled, dived and slid.

Every child, educator and general assistant was also treated to a piece of delicious birthday cake.
The final activity was when the entire school, from grade RR to grade seven was photographed in the shape of a giant 60.

Well done Drakensview. As the school of choice, you are wished well for the next 60 years.

The school would like to send a hearty thank you to all their sponsors.
