Fockers lead Bowls Business League

...and are separated by only four shots on shot difference.

With one more game to go, it’s down to the wire in the Overdale Farming Business League. A two-horse race for top honours as “The Fockers” and “Pizzeria and Fish” head the table and are separated by only four shots on shot difference. The leaderboard looks as follows: First was The Fockers 22 (+44), second Pizzeria and Fish 22 (+40), and in third position were the Up Town Girls 19 (+57).

All teams are reminded that the last game will be played on April 20. This will then be followed by prizegiving and the normal social, so don’t forget to bring your family and friends and your basket and come enjoy the evening with us.

The Bowls team would also like to congratulate all the players and coaching staff of the KZNCB u/30, u/20 and u/15 who participated in Bloemfontein last week. The u/30 team achieved second place winning the silver medal, while the u/20 and u/15 played hard and although they did not get through to the playoffs, they have made everyone in the Bowls team very proud. To all those that contributed financially or in any other way, thank you so much on behalf of the team.
