Girls Hockey: The u/16s played a tough but good game of hockey. The teams were evenly matched and through good teamwork, DHS was able to score a goal in the first half. Unfortunately, Pongola scored late in the second half, bringing the final score to 1-1. The first team had a lovely game and came together beautifully.
Three balls passed Pongola’s keeper within the first 12 minutes of the game. Christien Muller and Abbi Box showed skill and focus as they put another two into the box, bringing their combined total to five goals.
Every girl on the pitch stepped up and played crisp, passing hockey. Spartans, DHS is very proud of your performance. Keep the momentum going!
