BREAKING NEWS: Alleged syndicate members arrested on Murchison Street
It is speculated the men had intended to rob a business.
Astonished pedestrians and business owners witnessed police arrest six men in Murchison Street, shortly after 11am this morning.
According to an unofficial police source, the men allegedly belonged to a crime syndicate who were targeting businesses.
Police apparently received information the suspects, apparently from Estcourt, were intending to rob a business today, and managed to intercept the men before they accomplished their mission.
Two firearms were confiscated during the arrest.
