The cold winter has already started knocking on our doors. There are many people who are not fortunate enough to fall asleep under a warm blanket in the winter, not to mention have a warm meal and warm clothes to get through winter.

This is where the Winter Knights, with the help of the community, make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.

On May 5 members of the Estcourt 74 Round Table hosted their annual Winter Knights campaign in the Spar parking lot, where locals generously donated food items, clothes, cash and blankets to Thembelisha Care Project Organisation.

The Round Tablers themselves braved the cold that evening to help make the lives of the destitute a bit more bearable and warmer this winter. On behalf of Estcourt Round Table, Shane Janse van Vuuren would like to kindly thank all those who made hearty donations and further would like to thank his fellow Round Tablers for showing their support for the campaign.
