The Newcastle Advertiser has one post available for a sub editor.
What does a sub editor do?
- A sub editor checks the written text of the newspapers and websites before publishing
- Makes sure the copy is factually correct
- Writes eye-catching headlines and proper captions
- Uses local general knowledge to make sure news is relevant to the target market, and more.
