With glee written all over Constable Samkelo Dlamini’s face, he shared what it means to him to have received a certificate acknowledging his outstanding service.

During May, the Forderville Community Police Forum (CPF) office bearers, on behalf of the community, presented Constable Dlamini with a certificate; rewarding his dedicated service.

The certificate was a token of appreciation and gratitude for the Constable’s sterling service; it also recognised his willingness to go ‘above and beyond’ to ensure community safety.

“I feel very proud to know that my hard work pays off and does not go unnoticed. Many people ask me why I put so much effort into what I do and at times I question myself as well, but just by knowing that my efforts contribute to a safer community, make me more determined. I will continue the work I do, because I know that I am saving my daughter, my family, the loved ones of other people, my neighbours and co-workers from falling victim to crime that I can help curb,” said Constable Dlamini.

The Forderville CPF further acknowledged Constable Dlamini’s professionalism, efficiency and sincerity towards making our society a safer one. Constable Dlamini has been successful in assisting the CPF that strives for a crime free community.

“It is law enforcement officers like him that will do anything to protect their community. When duty calls, he drops everything and responds effectively. We thank him for putting the community that he serves, above his family. It is police officers like Constable Dlamini that make a difference in our town of Estcourt,” said the Forderville CPF Chairperson, Mr M Ismail.
