Be a Good Samaritan and make your donation

The league is still in need of cat food, whether wet or dry

A very special thank you to Pierre Massyn, Miss Asmal, Pravesh, Joy Coetzee, Mr and Mrs Fischer (in memory of Macy), Mr and Mrs Fisher (in memory of Jessie), Bransby and Adelene Niemach, Dean, Ayesha, Shameen, Mr Dooki and Shirley for all their contributions of cat food and blankets towards the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL).

The league is still in need of cat food, whether wet or dry.

If you want to be a Good Samaritan, then please visit or contact the league to make your kind donation.

This week, an adorable female cat and female German Shepherd dog are looking for loving, caring homes.

The cat is extremely playful and the dog has a heart of gold. Both are friendly and ideal for any home, so why don’t you take one of them home with you!

If you are interested in adopting, contact Annamarie Koen on 0761511784 or visit the league premises on the N11 just before the Limit Hill robots.

If you want to contribute cash towards the league, then you can make a deposit into their bank account. The details are: Nedbank, Ladysmith, Cheque Account: 1330077512, Branch Code: 133025. All your contributions towards the league are genuinely appreciated.

The AACL would like to make the community aware that their working hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to 1pm on Saturday (the kennels are closed on Sundays).
