A Christmas in July for children’s cancer trust

The craft market will held at the Owl & Elephant Lodge in Weenen from 9am to 2pm

With the aim of raising funds for children affected by childhood cancer, a market themed ‘Christmas in July’ will take place this Saturday.

The craft market will held at the Owl & Elephant Lodge in Weenen from 9am to 2pm. You are promised to have tons of fun with family and friends all for this worthy cause. The lodge is along the R74 in Muden Road in Weenen.

Craft market organiser, Sherlene Gericke has cleared her busy schedule to fundraise for Little Fighters Cancer Trust.

The Little Fighters Cancer Trust is an organisation that provides support and awareness regarding childhood cancers. A day of shopping for beautiful crafts, plastic model kits, books and DVDs can be anticipated.

That’s not all, the beautiful relaxed environment could make the perfect destination for a day out. You will not be bored, with activities for the entire family. Children can look forward to a jumping castle and trampoline.

Laser cutting, tea, coffee, cakes and food stalls, pottery, candles and jewellery will also be for sale. Do not forget to take tables and chairs. All proceeds raised from the market will go towards the Little Fighters Cancer Trust.
