Courier ‘takes the biscuit’ for Mandela Day

Let us know what you are doing today to mark 67 minutes of helping others on Mandela Day

It maybe deadline today, Mandela Day, for the Courier staff but we are managing to take time-out to prepare packets of biscuits which will be handed-out those who go the Crisis Centre on Friday mornings to exchange plastic discard for maas and juice.

Biscuits have been bought from DunGlen Biscuits, in Glencoe,  in preparation of Mandela Week – we will be at the Crisis Centre on Friday morning for a bit longer than 67 minutes.

The Courier is thankful for the assistance of Dolly (one of the Courier mothers) who stepped in to assist today!

Let us know what you are doing today to mark Mandela Day?  Today, it would have been Madiba’s 99th birthday.
