KFC celebrate Mandela Day

In a giving spirit the KFC crew handed yummy snack burgers out to the learners with the assistance of the teachers

In their own special way of giving back, staff members from KFC Estcourt dedicated their 67 minutes to feed the little learners of Sifisosethu Crèche in Drycott, Loskop today.

In a giving spirit the KFC crew handed yummy snack burgers out to the learners with the assistance of the teachers. The learners also got a bag packs containing crayons, a pencil, eraser, rulers and activity book.

106 of the 113 children received goodies as the remaining were under 18 months old. The educators and learners were very grateful and expressed it with song of thanks, and wore warm smiles.

“We wanted to come out here and give the learners a nutritious snack,” said Area Manager, Fazel Sheik with excitement as he met the children playing outside.

This formed part of KFC’s on-going Add Hope campaign focused on nutrition and feeding children all over South Africa every day.
