The Ladysmith Gazette spent Mandela Day at the Provincial Hospital #67Minutes

International Mandela Day is celebrated every year on July 18 and this year is all about fighting poverty.

Gazette staff arrived at the Ladysmith Provincial Hospital early this morning (July 18) as part of the #67Minutes Nelson Mandela Day celebrations.

International Mandela Day is celebrated every year on July 18 and this year is all about fighting poverty.

We took time out to donate food to those waiting to see doctors at the provincial hospital.

We were joined by the Ladysmith K9 Unit, representatives from Mark’s Tyres and Pick ‘n Pay.
