11-year-old raped in Brynbella

A case of rape was received from Brynbella on Friday.

An 11-year-old was allegedly raped.

Police spokesperson Captain Charmaine Struwig said that although the case was opened last week, it has come to light that the girl has been raped before.

“The allegations at this time are that on two separate occasions, two different suspects raped the girl while she was asleep at her home during the past three years,” she explained.

The Estcourt Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is investigating a case of rape.
