A 30-year-old man was found dead in the central business district on Friday evening.

He had sustained fatal stab wounds to his body.

Estcourt police were alerted to the stabbing in Albert Street at about 6.15pm and on arrival at the scene, found the man deceased.

“Police are investigating the incident and the motive for the attack on the deceased is still unclear at this time. The deceased has not yet been officially identified,” commented police spokesperson Captain Charmaine Struwig.
