A 35-year-old man was arrested by Weenen police on Thursday afternoon (July 27) for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.
An intelligence-driven operation saw police officers intercept the vehicle in the Weenen CBD.
It was found that the car, a Honda, had been stolen in Dobsonville, Soweto, during January this year.

The vehicle will be subject to further investigation.
The suspect appeared in the Weenen Magistrate’s Court yesterday (July 31), facing a charge of being in possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
